After rendering, some parts are not solid, you can look through them, in the included image I show an example of the problem.
Has anyone a solution for this?
Michiel Trappeniers Check the Part Material selected, looks like Glass or Air is selected as the Material.
Ye, I think that is a type of glass if I remember correct. Also worth checking if that is just a quick preview you are looking at, or a fast/accurate render as those can look slightly different as well.
Thanks for your fast reply, I am running an accurate render. Do you mean to change the material in Solidworks on part level or in Visualize? Because on part level they al have AISI 304 (metal) as material. I checked it in Visualize and there also the appearence is a metal one.
Michiel Trappeniers - Yes I meant the Part Level... Check the part by editing the Appearance, check the advanced tab and check the transparency settings..
I checked this and copied the appearance from the parts that were correct, however after re-rendering the problem stayed the same...
Then Check the Appearances in Visualize
Looks like you have overlapping parts... which are z-fighting.
Use part selection mode and hide/show the parts in that area.
Thanks for your reply, I checked your remark, however this does not solve the problem...
I have these problems as well occasionally. Sometimes it looks like that and sometimes a part is completely missing. The only solution I found is re-importing the part.
