I keep getting part is not rebuilt error when I try to check in into PDM. PArt has been rebuilt with the traffic light and cntl Q. All components have been rebuilt.
no idea if it would be cause, but if there are other configurations in any part/assembly than maybe they need to be rebuilt.
Try a CTRL + SHIFT + Q to do a force build of all configurations - won't propagate to child parts/assemblies but worth a try I think.
Are any of the components from a previous version of SW?
All components are new. built in this version of SW. Tried check in and check out in different orders. All components checked out and all assemblies checked out. All components rebuilt then assemble rebuilt. Still get error.
Yep, I get this all the time. I have tried everything I can think of to not get the message during check in but no luck. No idea if it is legitimate or a bug. Like the ole "Pending Reboot" message you always get during an install. Just have to assume it bogus and ignore it...
Finally got the warning cleared. Have note repeated the error to see if this always works but:
All components, sub-components, and reference parts have to be checked out in the PDM. Then check out and open the assembly. Then open each component, sub-component, and reference part via the Task Pane through the assembly and rebuild. Opening the components in the PDM and rebuilding does not work.
