I copied some assemblies and renamed them. The model is the same, just the name is different. I also copied the drawings of these assemblies and now i need to change the references.
The way I know how to make a copy of an assembly is to open the top level assembly you want to copy then use File>Pack and Go.
I add a prefix and put the new files in a new folder. All the references get updated to their new locations.
Yes, use Pack and Go.
Using windows explorer to copy files is seriously asking for trouble.
