I need to closed corner comes during hemming.
please see attached images.
Change the Relief Cut to "Tear"
It's going to be welded unless you're just talking about the corner. John Stoltzfus has the answer
yes. But welding does not look good & also consumes time.
as we are in display field we try to avoid weld as much as possible.
I'm not trying to be smart about your issue, but my first question is... Did you ever Bend Sheet Metal, like go to the equipment and form what you show, or did you just do the model and let someone else do the bending?
The only way you can adjust that area of the part is to add a Boss Extrude right in the corner, However, this would then cause a bend interference.. Doing it that way would distort the ends and make a really ugly corner that needs to be cleaned up in the shop. SolidWorks has this correct.
Not sure how much closer you want that to be closed.
We are currently doing this type of bending. but i am achieving this by editing flat pattern in auto cadd
so i am just wondering that if it happens in solidworks it will save my time.
Thanks once again.
try this option with CLOSE type profile:
Hope it helps.
