What do you do about slightly bad vendor models

We get part or assembly files where there is maybe one bad surface and the brown warning propagates all the way to the top assembly.  Fixing some of these surfaces is very difficult and a waste of time as in most cases the faults can't be seen and we wouldn't care if they could.  Sometimes the surfaces are large, deleting them changes the whole look of the model.  Does anyone have a way to tell SolidWorks "Hey this part is OK as is, stop checking it"
