Is anyone else encountering the issue in Visualize where parts are not obeying their opacity keys? I've got several parts that appear later in my animation that now are visible from the start and only parts are visible and they seem to have all appearances removed. I also can't select them from the view port but I can hide them by finding the sub-group in the model tree and changing the opacity.
The strange part is that when the components fade-in later in the animation, they appear correctly with all appearances applied.
I called our solidworks rep. and they said this is a known issue, but I haven't seen it in accurate rendering mode before so I was able to deal with the problem. But now its keeping me from doing a final render because these ghost parts are now visible in the final rendering.
Has anybody found a work-around for this?
red circled parts shouldn't be visible yet. Notice they have no appearances.
The final result will be similar to the animation here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlTcn6MPbZw
Thanks.
Maybe the file has somehow gotten corrupted? I would save a copy of the Visualize project under a different filename and see if that fixes your issues. After you close Visualize, and before you open up the freshly saved version, manually delete all the Visualize temp files. Do this by opening Windows Explorer and typing %temp% at the top navigation bar. Then literally trash everything in that folder. You'll find that there are several GBs of Visualize temp files. We have fixed this in our upcoming 2020 release, available in Beta now for customers on active Subscription, and publicly available this October.
