This macro was running fine this morning, but now I can't even edit it without crashing SW. Can someone try to open and save to a new file? I'm using SW2016 in case it matters. Thanks!

Not sure if this issue has been fixed - what SW release are you using now?
It happened to me before. Just rename the macro then you can edit it
Alex already helped me out. But if this happens again I'll try renaming. Not sure why it would matter, but who knows...

What I mean is the issue with SW API, not the problem you have with your macro
Not exactly sure what you mean, but yes, my issue was resolved. I can edit the macro in the API editor just fine. Thanks.

Sorry for confusing
The issue I mentioned here is the issue with editing a macro which a macro can't be edited and renaming/copying to a new name solves the problem
Does this work? I just copy/pasted from yours to a new 2016 file...
