I am using the attribute for J numbers on a multi-connector device..
#C_GRP_0 data can be entered in 2 different ways. Best way is to pre-define it in your manufcaturer part data in your library, so that it always comes in the same way when it gets used later.
Sometimes that doesn't work because the user defines the group because of how it is physically assembled, or for other reasons, and so you can do it per component as well.
Group will get added into that attribute that you showed there. It will also get shown in the name of the component as ComponentName.Group, "XD17.1" for instance. This way only shows up when all circuits of the symbol placed are of the same group, and the component has multiple different group names.
Also to note, that screen shows something called "pin group". I haven't used this, so I'm not sure where that gets populated from or what attributes, if any, can display it.
Thanks Daniel! Your second method worked perfectly. I had thought it would be added using "Edit Symbol Terminals".
