Hello my fellow solidworks users. I am wondering if it is possible to write a macro that will read through the BOM on a drawing, perform an "open file" command on the first bom item, then move to the next one and open that one too, then the next, and so on until the end of the bom is reached so that every item on the bom is open.  Then I want the "Model View" function to execute on every open file and place a view on my drawing.  I guess the ultimate goal here is to get every item on the bom to have a view on my drawing.  I need this functionality to speed up my creation of CNC cut layouts from an assembly of welded parts.  I am doing this by hand and it really sucks when there are hundreds of little pieces that need to be on my layout. I dont care where the views end up, just getting them on there would save a lot of time.  I have one final wish for this macro, that it restore the automatic BOM links to "Model Views" that were lost in SW2019.  I need every item view to retain or recreate the link to the bom so that my balloons match up.

Is this possible?  Does anyone know of any code snippets they could post so that perhaps I can figure it out myself?

Thanks a million!
