Good morning all,
ran into a bit of trouble this morning,
I have a relatively large assembly which I have been working on for a couple of weeks,
the assembly file included numerous parts and sub-assemblies and I am at the completion stages now in which i'm ready to send the SolidWorks files to my manufacturing department...
However when I have used Pack and Go, the folder contains hundreds of parts that are not used in the final design (they may have been used at the start and suppressed due to design changes)
My question is, is there a way to remove these unused parts when I send the file as not to confuse manufacturing and have the wrong parts made etc etc...
I have read about a purge tool that looks like the perfect solution but I am running 2015 and I believe this feature was released in the 2016 version,
Any help is much appreciated as I am starting to think that this might all have to be done manually
