Installation Error...

Discussion created by Jose Sinibaldi on Apr 10, 2009
Hi,

For some reason the SolidWorks 2008 version will not sintall on a VMWare Windows XP installation. I have no issues running SolidWorks 2007.

I do not think it is the VMWare, I believe there is something else wrong.

Here's the error message I get:

SolidWorks: The installation failed because: The MSI file Y:\APPS_Windows\SolidWorks 2008 SP05\swwi\data\English_i386_SolidWorks.Msi did not install successfully.
