Not a question but a breadcrumb trail. I tried to use the Solidcam Addin with SOLIDWORKS 2019 and my 9 year old Dell Precision 6600. Each time I checked the box, and closed the window to accept the changes, SOLIDWORKS would un-check the box. A friend at ATX hackerspace is using an older and lower performing Dell computer and is able to use the Solidcam Addin successfully. The only difference we could think of was that he is using SOLIDWORKS 2018. I switched to 2018 and I can now use the Solidcam Addin.
