Hello all. I am trying to obtain the Mold Tool certifications. I am wondering if there are other resources such as tutorials and practice problems that are not covered in the training course. I have completed the official SOLIDWORKS certification path, but cannot do the last problem on the practice exam. I also do not how to troubleshoot or how to manually select surfaces for core and cavity creation as it is never covered. Any help or direction to these resources is greatly appreciated.
I do not know of any online resources other than practice exams that are posted on the SW website. If you are having trouble with manual selection of surfaces, I would highly recommend pursuing your surfacing advanced certification before the mold making exam (if you haven't already done so). This will help you recover more quickly if any of the built-in mold tools don't work for you (which will happen, that's how some of the questions are designed).
In order to manually create mold halves, surfacing tool knowledge is vital. This will utilize the tools listed in the practice exam.
If you have any specific questions about an official practice exam (not the actual mold making exam), then that can be discussed here.
