One of my new team mate, checked in the model in to PDM server by select get latest version option before check in. So, I have missed the full work done whole day. But, he is often do save files when working in solid works. When I tried to take the file from backup folder, nothing available.
C:\Users\SURK-IN\AppData\Local\TempSWBackupDirectory\swxautoC:\Users\SSSS-IN\AppData\Local\TempSWBackupDirectory\swxauto.
Is there any idea to recover the worked model.

But, in my recover setting in options shows, data will available up to 7 days. But, when i saw nothing available.
Is there any other setting available to avoid this kind incident in future.
I am asking the one like AutoCAD backup files.

with this not checked, NO backups are created.
I am not sure exactly your issue, but if I understand correctly, you have your files saved in PDM. You did a day's worth of work and checked the file in. Then your co-worker who had the same model open checked in his revisions without checking to see if the model had changed. His checkin then overwrote your checkin and your work was lost.
Am I correct in that? If so, you are in luck, but one of you will be unhappy. PDM saves every checkin that is made and your CAD Admin can restore any model to any precious state so your checkin state can be recovered. However his work would then be lost unless he has a backup on his system. By rights, that is what should happen then as he redoes all of his work he will remember to check for upto date status before checking in from now on. for practical reasons though, if he has 4 days of work in his revisions and you have one it might be best if his work is saved and he is instructed to be more careful.

If this guy was getting latest version before he cheked in the work, all is gone. I believe he will never do it again .
As you wrote you can check the folder where autosave backup is created (by SW) but this folder is clean up after some time and if you don't see any backup theri, unfortunately his work can't be recover. Sorry!
Remember, always check files before you get any other version of it!
