Hi,
Can anyone explain why the 'Save Settings' function doesn't save the toolbar layout?
The attached video shows a customization of the toolbar followed by a 'Save Settings' operation, but a restore doesn't recreate the layout of the toolbar? :S

1. You're not modifying the toolbar layout. That's the Command Manager tabs. Might save in a different section?
2. Copy Settings Wizard takes info from the registry and writes it to a file. At some point in the past, SW itself didn't write customization changes to the registry until you did a normal shutdown of SW (not a crash). I've had to re-do shortcut keys or toolbar layout changes multiple times in the past due to crashes prior to registry write. Try shutting down SW and running the copy settings wizard from the start menu rather than from inside SW.
Hi Josh,
Thank you for you answer! :-)
1. The tabs shown on the Command Manager are indeed saved when you tick off "Toolbar Layout" - just did a test.
2.By shutting down SW before doing a Copy Settins operation worked. Everything is saved and everything work when restored - I just have do it outside of SolidWorks :-)
Thank you for your help.
