Hi!
I'm trained in the autodesk product line and I'm now looking into what solidworks is all about.
I bought a course on Solidworks and thought I'd get a trial in order to get the feel for the program but the site seems to be very confusing to me. All I seem to be able to get access to is a web browser emulation of the program.

As far as I can tell there is no offline proper install.
Does solidworks not offer a full and authentic trial?

If anyone knows how to get it, please let me know. 
This web emulation is laughable if it's supposed to convince me to switch from inventor so I'm sure I'm missing something. I understand Solidworks is supposed to be a proper contender to inventor.
