Is it possible to take dimensions from interfering parts during an inference detection operation?
Thank you,

No.....however, here is one thing that you can do as a workaround.
Take the components that are interfering with each other and suppress all other components.
Now save your assembly as a part. Then open the part. The new part should be just the bodies representing the parts that were interfering.
Now run the Combine tool. Select Common and select all your bodies.
You are left with body(ies) representing the area that was interfering. Now you can measure this to your heart's content. You can even add this to your assembly and fix it in place to be able to measure from it to other areas.
I know that this is a big work around, but I also know that there was a top ten suggestion to have the interfering area be measurable/selectable, etc..

That would be awesome
dimensions no.
but the measure tool is now available during any other command. maybe that will get you what you want, though i can see selection being a bit of a pain.
