This morning, for some reason, all of my .pdf icons show up like this

I'm not even sure what type of icon this is, it looks like a folder icon with 9 squares with dots in them? Anyone even seen this, or have a possible solution to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Just tried deleting the Windows icon cache, but no luck.

As to how and why it's pointing at this is a curiosity.
Do the PDF files open as usual?
If there's a spot in DPM PDM to assign an icon, click it and navigate to Reader's/Acrobat's exe file and select its icon.

Hi Kevin, not that I can tell, they look fine on my hard drive, and when I right-click on them in the PDM, I don't get the same options as windows to change the program or the icon.
I was able to find where to tell it what program but it was already linked ot to adobe, so I linked it again, but no luck.
What's strange, is if I click "Work Offline" they show up correctly, but turn back when I "Work Online". And no one else is having this issue at my company.
I found the solution and wanted to post it here incase someone else has this issue. It had to do the registry key for "DefaultIcon" for .pdf files. Somehow that changed on it's own. I've attached the solution here. Kevin, Thank you for the help, sir.
