I use an Admin image to install SW across a network (7
seats). The upgrade failed on the edrawings install. I got an error
that I've attached with some "explanation". I was able to manually
install the edrawings, but I don't want to do that for them all.
Anyone seen this and know why?
Thanks,
Craig S.

There is an entry in the Install Log and the Event Viewer saying that 'SolidWorks eDrawings 2009 -- Error 1606.Could not access network location \WINDOWS\Installer\MSIC2.tmp'. This file does not exist.
Based on the install Log file, it looks like this file should be created when it checks to see if AutoCAD2007 is installed.
MSI (s) (C4:74) [09:38:20:804]: Doing action: isACAD2007Installed
MSI (s) (C4: D0) [09:38:20:820]: Invoking remote custom action. DLL: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSIEF.tmp, Entrypoint: isACAD2007Installed
MSI (s) (C4!0C) [09:38:20:867]: PROPERTY CHANGE: Adding AUTOCADR17INSTALLDIR property. Its value is '\WINDOWS\Installer\MSIC2.tmp'.
MSI (s) (C4!0C) [09:38:20:867]: PROPERTY CHANGE: Adding R17INSTALLED property. Its value is '1'.
Action start 9:38:20: isACAD2007Installed.
Is this a know issue? Is there a solution?
Thanks.
