Hello, I've made a split line to split faces in the component level as shown.
But when I go to a pre-existing assembly the changes do not show, as shown.
Any idea on what is up?

I wish that were the case, but unfortunately it is not. I tried suppressing the split line feature while in the assembly and un-suppressing the feature again but it still did not show up.
Can you post the Part and Assembly here?
i usually have the problem in the drawing mode.
i would add the split line to a pipe, and it would work.
Sometimes I needed to change the display from shaded to lines also.
had the problem with 2017, and recently with 19 but the engineers decided to take out the seam so I was able to do away with the split line.
Is there any chance the Part has multiple configurations, and the Split feature is suppressed in the configuration used in the Assembly?
