Mixing Quadro and Geforce cards in the same box

My current box has a Quadro M-5000 GPU. It performs well but you can never have too much power and I need faster rendering results. https://images.nvidia.com/content/quadro/product-literature/data-sheets/12488_NV_DS_Quadro_M5000_Aug11_US_NV_HR.pdf

I was going to purchase a Quadro RTX 4000 to add to the box and then Vis would use both the M5000 and RTX 4000.

But the RTX is an 8gb card and I can buy the GeForece 2080 TI (gaming version of the RTX 4000) for about the same price and its an 11gb card. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/rtx-2080-ti/

I think I can have both the M5000 and the 2080TI in the same box, specify SW uses the M5000 (its a certified card) and Visualize use the 2080 as its Primary card (so I have the 11gb advantage) and the M5000 as a secondary card (so I can use the cuda cores from the M5000)?  I'm not sure of this however and before I drop a cool $1K I want to be sure this is possible.  Does anyone know if this can be done or is doing this now?  If so is it easy to setup?

Thanks
