How to simulate a socket head screw in shear

Hi all,

I need to analyse the shear stress in a M12 socket head screw holding a SHS in a vertical position. I am not sure if my setting are correct and giving me realistic results. I have a bonded global contact with non-touching faces because if I change to No penetration, it fails with large displacement. I also have created a contact set between the front face of the SHS and one of the faces of the plate where the bolt would be holding the SHS.

Have I done it correctly or am I way out of track?

What would be the best setting for this problem?

Thank you in advance
