I made a script in the PDM Admintool by Add-ins > Dispatch > Administrative Actions > Add.
What I can see, there is no way to set user rights to the script. Is that true?
When I save the script, it is directly visible in the menu string in PDM, when I right click a file or folder.
This is absolutly undesirable, because I don't want that every PDM user can use the Dispatch script.
I want a select group of users that is be possible to use the script.
Please help.
Normally I would say try Groups>Settings>Menu but it's just a generic "Add-ins" tool. So if you have more than 1 dispatch script that you want various groups to have accesses too it does not look like you can separate who gets what. Interesting.
When you make a task, you choose the 'Solidworks task add-in'. But not the 'Dispatch add-in'. I think if we have that choice it is possible to set user rights.
It is strange that it is probably not posible to set rights to a self made dispatch script.
My script changes variable values at a datacard, so I don't want that every PDM user can do that.

but meanwhile, it seems unfortunately there is no such opportunity.
I have several ideas:
- try to start through the command line specific Dispatch Script (on behalf of the administrator);
- add the table of permissions for users in SQL base;
- use for this purpose third-party programs and scripts.
But, unfortunately, meanwhile not time to be engaged in it.
