I'm currently looking at if it is possible to use SolidWorks to generate Plant/Equipment layouts for general arrangements where floor plan and equipment heights need to be shown relative to building structure. I'm new here, however this has been historically done in AutoCAD with allot detail, I'm curious if anyone has been successful in doing this in SolidWorks. I am be okay with using simplified dummy models, as long as it can be quickly and efficiently. Some piping required.
