I am attempting to save a part (attached) which will then be used in a finite element software. The software only takes the file types listed below. However, when I attempt to save to any of these files types Solidworks creates an err. file for which it doesn't give a reason. Is there something that is specifically wrong with my Solidworks part to cause this issue or is it a bug in the programme? Help would be muchly appreciated. Many thanks.

• Output Database (.odb)
• Substructure (.sim)
