Where can I find a material set for ST-8.8 and ST-10.9 bolts?
you can check with some manufactures. Here's an example which might help you: Technical data fasteners
8.8 / 10.9 / A2-70 and so on are no Materials. They define the strength classes.
If you use the internet search, you will find e.g.:
The numbers of the bolts e,g 8.8 10.9 12.9 do not refer to a material. They refer to mainly the tensile strength of a bolt so it is a class.
The material can vary as long as the specifications of the bolt are to the specs of the class.
Thanks for the reaction.
I understand that ST-8.8 or St-10.9 is for Tensile strength and Yield Strength..
But I hoped I could copy somewhere the material set. For now I copy the material Steel and change the Tensile and Yield strength. But I'm not sure about the other material settings.
Thanks for the technical data. It will help a lot!
