Assembly Instructions on designing for a furniture
I'm pretty sure there's Exploded Views in the tutorial in Solidworks. Are you just wanting someone to show you an exploded view?
Just click on Exploded Views on the Assembly command manager or Insert -> Exploded Views and start from there. It's real easy.
Thanks for the info Mr.Fredrick and could you please let me know how to get those details and the software.
How do I do this SOLIDWORKS Forum thing?
Could you please let me know the possible options?
1. Apprenticeship at a furniture manufacturer
2. Design Courses at your local College
5. www. designfurniture.org
While trying with 'www.designfurniture.org' it says the domain doesn't exist and is available for purchase! kindly review the link.
you want to build furniture, make instructions on how to put together something?
Go to Hobby Lobby or some store where they sell model car kits, fine yourself a model to put together.
While your there take a look at the model rockets. Those are great fun too.
Then find one of those doll house kits, and get one of those too.
After you are threw putting together the plastic model snap together, or glue. pick the next one the rocket or the doll house.
What to do with the projects when done. If you do not want to keep them....donate them to a daycare. or orphanage, or church.
Check out this link.
search wood working on you tube?
there is the old Yankee work shop with Norm.
there is a lot on this old house and ask this old house.
Kindly let me know how to get the parts exploded from the one created as shown in the attached file for making the assembly. Then, for creating the assembly instructions further.
Thank you Mr.Steve and It's really helpful.
Just arrived at the exploded views of Parts and trying to Tag them with names and then into fixing Holes for the nest step. Attached are the parts exploded.
You are repeatedly ignoring the advice people are giving you.
We are NOT going to do your job for you...
You need to take some initiative and learn how to use the software.
Creating exploded views is a very basic function.
If you can't figure out how to do this, then you should probably pursue a different career path.
I don't have anything fancy to create assembly manuals...
I make exploded views of my assemblies, take screen shots, and drop them into Word, or Powerpoint.
then I type up the isntructions.
My sincere apologies if the request was a trouble. However, i take your advise and i do follow the same while trying this. But still i couldn't get all the exploded parts combined into viewing in one file whereas i can add comments for assembly.
Add your notes in Word or Powerpoint. Just use Solidworks to get the picture.
Noted,Mr.David with thanks. I am trying the same as you advised and trying the options suggested by Mr.Steve also.
I have made the exploded parts and trying the assembly as attached.
