Dear community, is it possible to import decal from SolidWorks to Composer? If so please let me know the procedure.
i'm sorry to say, but the answer is no.
It's only possible to import textures from SWX, no decals.
And it's only possible to get one texture for the complete actor.
A workaround could be, that you create a new geometry in Composer and assign a decal as the texture.
Or explode the actor and assign a texture to one of the surfaces...
Technically no, but there is a work around that works great, assuming you have all of the software.
What I've done is create a sheet metal part of the decal in solidworks, make it very thin. (assuming its flat)
Import that part to composer. With the artwork, you need to convert it to a .bmp.
Then your able to add it as a texture to that part.
