HI

i have two parts in an assembly - and in an ideal world i would mate the parts using the round pin in a square hole....but this doesnt want to play so i thought i could create a mid plane on each  part and mate them....the mid plane creation is ok but it sets the two midplanes in to the mates section but i cant mate the two midplanes.......

in the second image shown is the round pin in a sqare hole but i cant get this to work using the advanced mates

any help here
