Why is the trim function doing this? I never had this issue in 2015, now that I have upgraded to 2018, the problem has persisted.
I believe the problem is with your first Trim/Extend function, unless you want to notch the outside channel around the angle?
I suppressed that feature, and added two more; one to trim the channel at the corner, and another one to trim the angle at the junction with the channel (and I selected Faces for the trim boundary in both cases, but that probably doesn't matter).
Is this what you wanted?
Can you post the file, or another file showing similar behavior if that one is proprietary? See How can I attach a file to a forum post? if you aren't familiar with the process.
i didn't remember for sure, but maybe the options of the trim feature were extended since 2015.
I would recommend to "play" around a litte bit with the marked options:
If this doesn't work, please upload your (test)file here.
I have tried all of the options here, still doesn't trim right.
I added the file to the thread.
I think you must to give a order only. Did tried you find this one?
Here is one file where I have the issue.
Do you need this one?
Yes. I did remove some members on Trim/Extend 11 and the cut through went away. Thanks for your help!
Glad I could help.
