I have heard that it is possible to set up a dedicated task host that can process file conversions or file printing "invisibly". Meaning that the application runs at a sub level on the machine and does not require graphics processing. This lets the task run more efficiently.

We would like to setup a virtual machine on our network as a dedicated task host. If we can set this up to run tasks "invisibly" then we can avoid managing complex graphics processing.

Does anyone have experience with this? It was briefly mentioned at SolidWorks World 2019.
