I'm trying to pattern a group of holes in a single extrude feature around an extruded horseshoe shape. I've sketched a curve on the flat top of the horseshoe and the extruded feature is sketched on the same plane. When I create a pattern by curve and say tangent to curve, it fails to follow the curve.

The original feature is at the lower right, at the end of the curve in blue. Why do my pattern features not follow the curve? Makes no sense.
