I am looking at injection molding a part to test out its integrity, but first I will be 3D printing it. I already made the model for 3D printing which works well enough. However, for mold design, I am not sure how or if it is possible to make molds for the assembly because when I initially made the model, I did not take draft angles into account. Even if I did, I can't think of a way how to make the same shape of the model and introduce an angle to it.
Regardless, how important are draft angles really and is it possible to make a mold for the model? I'd rather not create it all over again.
