I have a macro that I downloaded and last used in 2017, "Springapi.swp" it doesn't show in the 2019 menu. Where should I save it so I can use it in 2019.
Macro can be saved anywhere and you need to link it to the SW - however, if you save settings from 2017 then it'd be linked to your SW2019
if it's extension spring, you can download this tool and it'll be automatically linked to SW no matter what version is

I don't know much about macros, but I recently had someone kindly write one for me and post it. I selected a location on our network to save it to, and then mapped to that folder at Tools > Options > System Options > File Locations > Macros. I assume you didn't do that, since you're asking. Did you perhaps save it at a default location in the SW installation folder? Do you still have SW2017 installed? If yes, try opening it and go to Options and see where it's saved. If it's there I'd suggest moving it to a location away from the rest of the SW installation files. If you don't still have SW2017, it may have been deleted or overridden when you updated to SW2019.
