Hey,
I recently opened up an assembly I was working on a two weeks ago, all the changes I made to the assembly, all the parts I added are completely missing, not showing in the assemblies references or anything, yet the parts are still saved in the file folder, and if I look at the references for each part, they say that they are referenced in the assembly.
Can anyone help please?

Thanks for getting back to me. I have tried this but no luck. When I click the references for the assembly I get a short list of references with none of the part names I need in that list, yet when I go to the parts and click the references, they show that it references to the assembly, 
Try opening the Parts first, then the Assembly. If the Parts are open then they should show up when the Assembly is opened. If that doesn't work then I'm out of ideas.
Were these parts created with external references to the assembly? That may be why they show the link to the assembly. As Glenn asked, is there any chance there are 2 versions of the assembly? Every once in a while I will open a part or subassembly and save it causing SW to point to a different folder then when I save my assembly it somehow winds up there. You might want to just do a windows search of the whole drive your SW models are in.
Close the Assembly, go to File > Open, browse to it and select it, but don't open it. Click on the References button at the bottom of the File > Open dialog box and see what files it's referencing, and their file locations.
It sounds like you might be opening an earlier version of the Assembly. Is it possible there are two Assembly files?
