Any method to track mates used on configurations?

Hi,

Is there any method in SW to display mates that is used in an assembly configuration?
I dont find any easy way to access mates that is related to assembly configurations.

Hi Yngve,

You just right click the mates (you want to see whre it is configured) and selct configure feature, you will get the details in which configuration it is supressed and unsupressed.

  Thank you for your answer, I'm aware of that function, but I was thinking the other way around.
  Is the mates accessable from the configurations? I was thinking about accessing wich mates that is related to the selected configuration? Its a lot of work to go through all mates in a big assembly.
  I'm on SW 2008 sp5.

Ygnve, the only way a mate won't be used on a configuration is if it is either suppressed by the user (or configuration settings) or, if one of it's components is suppressed.
So, your general list of mates (the long one at the bottom) will give you the upshot of what's used in a configuration and what's not.
Now, being able to query mates based on their states might make for a nice enhancment request.
