I'm trying to do a partial section view of an assembly, like a half section but where the 2 lines are not at a 90 degree angle. I can make the section view just fine using the 3 point aligned section view or by drawing the lines manually. My problem is that after I've made the section view, I want to rotate it so that it is an isometric view (or sort of isometric because I really want to look at it from the opposite direction) but when I do this, the section view is flat. It seems like the view is unfolded about both of the section lines? I think I just want it to unfold about the vertical line so that the view isn't distorted, but can't seem to make it do that. Anyone know how to do this in SW 2018?
