I'm kind of new to solidworks at this level, only previously doing simple parts. Ive got an assembly of a slider crank mechanism that I want to analyze to find the forces produced and what part sizes I need to optimize. I fiddled around a bit with the model dimensions in between analyses, and now Im running two analyses on what is essentially the exact same model and have gotten hugely different results for contact forces, from what I can see all the motion analysis settings, mates etc are the same. I'm getting same results for both in regards to velocity and displacement which proves they are both dimensionally the same and so I dont think I have missed anything there, but I don't know how the contact forces are so different.
