In the past I have been able to have a preview picture of the file large enough to see. Now all I have is a small icon image that does not allow for viewing the file effectively. Is there a button to turn on file preview at open? Thanks in advance.
As the Fredrick's have said, you can adjust the size of the icons/images shown in the file pane, but you can also turn on a preview pane for the selected file using the button that I point to in the image below (it is showing a tooltip for hiding it since mine is already shown). Note that these are all standard Windows functions, not specific to SOLIDWORKS and may look a bit different depending on what Windows version you are using (I'm on Windows 10).
I hope his helps,
Damn, you are too fast Frederick
Not sure its a good thing .....
I guess you mean inside the folders?
If so, right click, Press "View" and you can select different options.
There is also the option in settings in case you have accidently turned it off.
Thank you all for your help. Jim answered my question perfectly. It's back running the way I remembered.
All of your answers were useful. Thanks again.
