SolidWorks VBA and 32 Bit office compatible?

i am trying to use VBA in Solidworks 2019 and send variables to a 32 bit version of Access 2013 Database then bring a value back.  I have searched this a lot, and find people that say it can be done and people that say it cannot be done.  So I'm looking for a definitive answer on weather or not this is possible or if I just need to upgrade to a 64bit version of Office in order to communicate with Solidworks VBA.
