I used display states in my supports assembly to show 2 different configurations for an alternate position view on my drawing.
In the drawing configurations and display states are selected correctly. I have changed component line font to phantom and i have reset it and so forth.
It still shows 2 different line types for the alternate view. Its as if its showing the hidden bodies from my configurations/display state.
Any ideas?
Have you looked into Inserting an Alternate Position View? Search on that term to learn more. I use it often for showing different positions of assemblies and it does not even involve using display states.
Yes thanks. I was using an alternate position view. With some more research with a co worker we figured out the problem. My view was cropped and when you crop a view it corrupts it. I guess there is a fix in 2018 for this. I ended up removing my crops from the views, save the drawing, then re open solidwords to erase the memory. When it reopened the lines are shown correctly as phantom only.
