I am designing a framework using angle bar 50 x 50 x 3mm thk Std. But, my boss wants to cut the cost of making it. So, no choice I am not going to apply the Corner Treatment.
How to do it on the weldment feature.
Do you mean like this?
Above I just offset the sketch lines but here's another way using a move body and trim
Yes! Exactly like that. :-)
Is there any other approach like in Inventor. Sorry to bring it up.

There are many, many ways to achieve the same thing in Solidworks - which is the best way always depends on your particular requirements.
One thing you could do is add additional sketch points for the offset into the weldment profile itself and then use them to locate the profile.
I messed this up a bit.. but it should give you an idea
A couple of trims and we're there
I tried getting it to work in one feature but it wouldn't work for me.
Looking forward to see what the weldment experts say
Appreciate your additional info. I will give it a try.
Good Luck Wehlee - It's the weekend..you should get some better ideas tomorrow
One last idea..
How about ignoring the multibody aspect of the weldment functionality - just make a single structural member and configure the length. Then mate them together in an assembly
The strange thing is that the angle iron has to be cut to length regardless, so how much longer does a mitre cut take (mere seconds) than a straight cut (dock)?
With no treatments, the thing is going to look ugly and a bit of a mess to weld also I would guess.
I'm thinking your boss isn't really saving time or money.........
Just my 2 cents worth.
Appreciate your info. Angle Bars are to be bolted using M10 Hex Bolt.
Buddy, is it a bolted connection maybe, are you trying to looking for something like that?
Try to read AISC handbook "Connections Teaching Toolkit" for that kind of things, it has huge solution for bolted conection. And as said before Rob Edwards and Dave Bear maybe you need to make single profiles and make an assy to joint everything there. Ask to your boss what he needs to build and according to that you can go for the wright way....
