I don't know why they did it this way, but "Weld" seems to refer to weldment cut lists. Just to test I created a "red" Layer, set that to the red layer, and then inserted a cut list. It came in red.
I'm on 2017 SP5 and it doesn't work
Thanks Glenn but I try this on 2019 SP2 it doesn't work. It seems overlooked.
It works fine for me with SW2019 sp 2. See attached.
It should be changed to "per standard". In your drawing, layer properties set to "test". When we set to a specific layer, all layers are assigned to this layer.
I usually keep "Per Standard" as my active Layer, but forgot that when I created the new one it would become the active Layer instead. Sorry about the confusion.
Seems odd they have one for welds but not cut-list. Doh!
