how to convert the Solid Works assembly models into Autodesk Revit format (.rfa - format).
My client needs the solid works model as BIM model with .rfa format.
Please guide me....!
Probably going to have to export to a Parasolid or a STEP, then you will need to find someone with an AutoDesk seat that can open the file and export it out to *.rfa, because SW cannot export directly out to that format.
there is no direct support for the Revit-Format when using "save as".
But if you like to export for usage in Revit or any other BIM system, then use the IFC 4 (*.ifc) format!
...or, another way is to export as *.SAT (Acis version 7.0) the Revit user should be able to open the *.SAT file.
You can export a part/model directly as a RFA file type now.
