I have a document that is in WIP.
When I change the the state to Prototype the first time, the Revision is blank and Local Revision is 'A'.
If I do a Rev bump, the Revision goes to A and the Local Revision goes to 'B'.
OR
If I send it back to WIP and then move ti to Prototype again, he Revision goes to A and the Local Revision goes to 'B'.
My Submit to Prototype transition actions looks just like my Prototype REV action.
I have read a few articles on the the two and they are still out of sync. What am I missing?
Thank you in advance...
I would try to setup Prototype state as initial, so you have it as no revision. You are going to go in out pdm in design process and when it is ready you change state to released=WIP with rev A01 (you need transition between states to change it or set it). From WIP you have - new rev Change (transition) -> New rev State ->Request for Change (transition back to WIP). This is how i have it and it works fine in PDM Standard (not able to setup automatic transitios)
