Hi all,
Is it possible to assign colors to each direction in a boss extrude where both direction 1 and 2 is used?

You could also do two extrude operations and not merge them, then color each body afterwards.
Unlike Mr. Gupta's suggestion, this method creates a multibody part.
Note that I used a derived sketch for the opposite direction to keep it in sync with direction 1:
With this method, the appearance is applied to the body, not the faces.
You can apply to the faces, but it's more selection: in the hex above, it would be 7 faces.

Here is a cut extrude which I would like to add to my design library. The sketch is only a dummy sketch, when first added to a part the sketch will be edited and will no longer contain the original entities.
Adding colors to the faces won't work in this situation since the original entities will be deleted and replaced.
Direction 1 and 2 is used as well as a draft on direction 2.
You will have to split the faces and then you can apply the different colors to the faces.
