Hello,

Currently I have a panel that is used with multiple instances in different configurations in an assembly to construct one side of a unit. (see image below)

These panels are used as structural elements and as doors. The propertys of the panel are defined in a design table.

Right now I first drag the panel part into the assembly, choose in the configuration publisher the material type and dimensions. After the panel is in place and I want to make it a door, I drag the door part into the assembly on top of the panel using magnetic mates. Then I have to specify if the door is mounted on the left or rightside and match the dimensions of the door with the panel.

I am trying to figure out how to put the panel and door in one assembly/part and add a checkbox to the configuration publisher that defines if the panel is a door or not. And if so, how the door element is mounted.

Has anyone an idea how I can go about doing this? It would really speedup the assembly proces of the hul of our units.

Ideally I would like to do this with other components that are added to the panel as well but to keep it understandable I keep it to the two parts.
