Is there a way to put components in a folder the component tree in Solidworks Electrical like you can in regular Mechanical?
It would be super handy especially since I have a lot, A LOT of connectors.
While we are on the subject, I cant seem to renumber the marks, and I would like to reorder them in the component tree so they are consecutive and contiguous. Below I would have FT1, FT2, FT3, FT4 etc.
In the project configuration options for Mark, set the sort condition to "Natural." This should hopefully correct the issue.
It already is set that way.

I have resorted to dragging connectors under the components they go to. This maintains some sense of organization.
Unfortunately or fortunately as one may interpret it, the Tag for the connector will become formatted as UpperComponent.Connector. For instance, J5 placed under D1 becomes D1.J5". This can be simplified by using the "Short Tag" if needed, which will show J5 as the Tag.

Not that I've been able to determine, nothing purely for grouping anyway. (locations/functions both have other intended purposes) Definitely something I'd suggest submitting as an enhancement request on the SW customer portal.
