I could not duplicate your picture using contours. Try doing a blind cut.

Thanks for that. When I try to recreate that, I am still getting an error. Quite strange.
You could try shutting down SW and restart. Or reboot computer. There are a couple things to try but those are the first two.
I couldn't duplicate the error being faced by you. Try updating to the latest version, or run it by your colleagues system once to check.
Pre-select Sketch18 and cut it will work. No need to duplicate.

When I import your model in SW 2018 and press Ctrl + Q, it throws an error as attached. What could be the reason ?

Did you reboot your computer? I am on SW2018 SP05 what SP are you on?

Did rebooting your computer work? If that did not solve issue. Start SolidWorks Rx and click on the system maintenance tab. In File Manager go to the folder listed under Clean the SW temp directories and delete all folders starting with swx
delete any folder starting with swx

Vitul's works fine for me. I when I added a cut feature and did a ctrl+q, I did not get a rebuild error like he does. There is no import features so I do not understand running import analysis.
EDIT: Well night shift is over. Day shift will have to help you now.

Not sure what is going on. I tried to do the cut, even deleted your sketch and put in my own. Could not get it to cut. I had the same error as you.
But I have had some cut extrude errors of my own.
Likewise David Nelson. I could not figure out the root cause.
Hello Vitul,.. so, I got a chance to open this and the other file posted and ran Check Entity (I'll guess you did not run it).. because it has "6 general faults" (image attached).. the geometry is bad and yes, it throws errors after a ctrl-q... most likely because you and others do not have VOR on.
yeah, I personally would do it different... or simplify it.
