hi guys,

is there a way i can rotate this piano hinge so I can bend it to 90 degrees and then mate it with a base and panel that is perpendicular to it?

here is the exact hinge I want to use:

I want to model it correctly so my machinist knows exactly what I am doing and he can send over the machined part as modeled.

and based on panel thickness what piano hinge should I get to avoid and potential inference?

my vertical panel is at 16 gauge sheet metal (0.0598")

and my base is thicker at 0.1196" thickness.
